Olathe District Schools believes teacher appraisal and professional growth are interrelated.

Professional growth and development is an on-going, collaborative process, based on open communication and rooted in standards of excellence. It reflects a continuum beginning with the new educator and continuing throughout the individual's career. It's purpose is to improve educators' skills and student learning.
